CAMERA READY GUIDELINES – ICISET 2026
Please follow these step-by-step instructions carefully to prepare and submit your camera-ready manuscript.
1. Revising and Formatting the Manuscript
- Length Limit: The manuscript must not exceed 6 pages of A4-sized paper in PDF format, including all text, figures, tables, and references.
- Similarity Index: The similarity index must be strictly below 30%. Papers exceeding this threshold via IEEE Crosscheck may not be accepted for presentation or uploaded to IEEE Xplore.
- Reviewer Comments: Revise your manuscript carefully according to reviewer comments and suggestions. Thoroughly proofread for grammatical and language errors. You will need to prepare a Rebuttal file detailing these changes.
- Author Details: Write the full names of the authors. Do not use titles (e.g., Dr., Prof.). Do not include positions/designations in affiliations (write only the institution name).
- Author Consistency: The list of authors must perfectly match the initial submission. No new authors can be added or removed during the camera-ready submission.
- Formatting & Templates: No page numbers. Equations, units, figures, tables, and references must strictly follow IEEE format. You may download the standard IEEE LaTeX or DOC template here: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html
Authors submitting in MS Word (DOC) format may use our custom IEEE-derived template, which already includes the correct conference header and copyright code placeholders: https://iciset.iiuc.ac.bd/assets/conference/iciset/conference-template-a4-with-copyright-title-2026.docx
Please use this template only if the embedded copyright notice is appropriate for your submission, as outlined in Section 3. (Note: Track-7 & Track-8 authors, see Section 2)
- Program Book Abstract: Prepare a separate MS Word file for the conference program book. You must explicitly include the line "Paper ID: NNN" inside the document. This should be followed by your Title, Author names, Affiliations, Emails, and Abstract. Use Times New Roman font. The Paper ID (14pt, bold), Title (14pt, bold), Authors’ names (12pt, bold), Affiliations (11pt, normal), and Emails (10pt, normal) should be centered. The Abstract text (11pt, normal) should be justified. Save this file as NNN_abstract.docx. You may download the abstract template here: https://iciset.iiuc.ac.bd/assets/conference/iciset/PaperID_abstract.docx
2. Special Notice for Track-7 and Track-8 Authors
3. Adding Headers and Copyright Notices
- Not required for Track 7 & Track 8.
- If you are not using the custom Word template provided in Section 1 or using Latex, you must manually add the conference title at the header (left-aligned, two-lined format) as shown in this template: https://iciset.iiuc.ac.bd/assets/conference/iciset/conference-template-a4-with-copyright-title-2026.docx
2026 5th Int. Conf. on Innovations in Science, Engineering and Technology (ICISET)
08-10 November 2026, Chittagong, Bangladesh
- Add the appropriate copyright clearance code notice to the bottom left corner of the first page:
- Standard papers: 979-8-3195-9933-9/26/$31.00 ©2026 IEEE
- US Government employees: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
- Crown government (UK, Canada, Australia): 979-8-3195-9933-9/26/$31.00 ©2026 Crown
- European Union employees: 979-8-3195-9933-9/26/$31.00 ©2026 European Union
4. Validating and Converting via IEEE PDF eXpress
- Authors must use the IEEE PDF eXpress tool to verify or generate an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF. It is strongly recommended to upload your source file (MS Word or LaTeX) directly into the tool for conversion.
- 1 Access the Portal: Go to https://ieee-pdf-express.org
- 2 Account Login / Setup: The Conference ID is 72627X
- First-time users: Select "Create account". Enter the Conference ID (72627X), your email address, and a new password. You will receive an email to verify your account setup.
- Previous users: Log in using the same email and password from previous conferences, along with the current Conference ID (72627X).
- 3 Create a New Title: For each paper you are submitting, click "Create New Title" and enter your paper’s title information.
- 4 Upload File: Click "Submit File for Checking or Converting", select your source file, and click "Upload File". You will receive an email confirming a successful upload.
- 5 Download the PDF: Once the system completes the conversion or checking process, you will receive an email with the IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF attached. This is the exact file you must upload to the CMT submission system.
- 6 Upload the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF to the conference system WITHOUT making any changes to the file
5. Completing the Electronic IEEE Copyright Form
- Not required for Track 7 & Track 8.
- Your final manuscript submission must be accompanied by an officially completed IEEE Copyright Form.
- 1 Access the Author Console: Log in to the CMT submission system and navigate to your Author Console.
- 2 Initiate the Process: Click on the "Submit IEEE Copyright Form" link associated with your paper. From the subsequent page, follow the redirect link to the official IEEE Copyright Web Site.
- 3 Complete the Form: Follow the on-screen instructions to electronically transfer the copyright.
- 4 Download and Save: Once completed, download a PDF copy of the finalized copyright form. Save this file to upload it back into the CMT system in the final step.
6. Final Upload to the CMT Submission System
- Go to the CMT submission system: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ICISET2026
Upload the following properly named files to finalize your camera-ready submission:
- 1 NNN_paper.pdf: The IEEE Xplore compatible final manuscript retrieved from PDF eXpress (NNN = your paper ID).
- 2 NNN_src.zip (or NNN_src.doc / NNN_src.docx): The source files (LaTeX zip or Word doc).
- 3 NNN_rebuttal.doc (or .docx / .pdf): A detailed document mentioning all changes made in response to reviewers.
- 4 NNN_copyright.pdf: The downloaded IEEE Copyright Form (Not required for Tracks 7 & 8). Upload this to the dedicated IEEE Copyright Form Submission page.
- 5 NNN_abstract.docx: The formatted abstract document for the conference program book (as per Section 1).
